IreneBROOKES(née Podmore) It is with great sorrow we announce that Irene passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family, on 16th November 2025, aged 93 years.

A devoted mum to Roger, Dawn, Nigel, Gail and Tony, a loved mother-in-law, treasured nan and great nan, and a special friend to all who knew her.

A funeral service will take place at St. Chad's Church, Longsdon, on Monday 8th December at 11.00am prior to cremation at Carmountside Crematorium.

Family flowers only please. Donations if desired to The British Heart Foundation or Guide Dogs UK.
